Gas Powered Recirculation Systems
Liquid circulating systems are utilized in refrigeration primarily to gain the maximum possible capacity from the evaporators. This is achieved by feeding more liquid to the evaporators than can be evaporated, thus wetting the tubes completely, and thereby obtaining maximum heat transfer. Complete wetting also tends to wash out oil which is a deterrent to heat transfer. A simple and economical method of circulating liquid to the evaporators is by means of the PHILLIPS CIRCULATING SYSTEM.
